 Little mystified by your headline. The location you point out is the NWT, not Yukon... you are about 400 km from the Yukon border and an area in no way associated with our territory. Not even in the Yukon watershed.
  Yukon is part of the polar area, but not all polar areas are part of Yukon, to paraphrase Monty Python...
